David S. Lapine opens its doors in Manhattan. With a dual first order
for the retail and premium industries, the company sets off to meet the needs of manufacturer and customer.

Mark Lapine joins his father David, kicking off Lapine’s rich tradition of family.

Ten years after inception,
the company’s distribution arm, Lapine Associates, is incorporated.

1982

Welcome home, Lapine!
The company moves its headquarters from NYC to Stamford, CT, where it remains today.

1996

All in the family.
Noah Lapine, David’s grandson
and Mark’s son, joins the company.
That’s three generations of Lapines leading the way.

1998

It’s a family affair. Seth Lapine,
David’s grandson and Mark’s son, joins the company, continuing his family’s legacy.

2000

Make room for one more!
Paul Lapin, David’s grandson and Mark’s nephew, rounds out the third generation of the family tree.

Full service with a smile.
Lapine relocates its warehouse facility to Billerica, Mass., further improving its world-class distribution and fulfillment capabilities.
