  • Import Sourcing Associate
    We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our second-to-none import and sourcing staff in our Procurement Department.
    As a Lapine Import Sourcing Associate you will work in collaboration with our U.S. sales staff and our wholly owned and operated sourcing office in Asia to identify, design, manufacture and import innovative products for both our retail and corporate/promotional customers.

    Ideal candidate is a dependable and mature self-starter who is computer literate and a creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
    • Primary Responsibilities (Job Description Details):
      1. Research, identify and assist in the design of creative product ideas that fit the marketing objectives of our various customers.
      2. Source merchandise via Lapine partners and in collaboration with Lapine Asia.
      3. Work in conjunction with our Logistics and Quality Control departments.
      4. Process purchase orders and payment authorizations.
      5. Manage the product sourcing and production process from start to finish.
      6. Act as the liaison between our China office and sales team.
      7. Travel domestically and internationally to work with our sourcing team and customers as required.
    • Qualifications (Job Requirements):
      1. College degree [Preferably, but not required: Business, Design, Merchandising, or Language (Mandarin Chinese)]
      2. Ability to read/speak Mandarin Chinese and English required
      3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
      4. Solid organizational skills, efficient time management and strong attention to detail
      5. Highly functional familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications
      6. Strong desire to learn!
      7. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally periodically
      8. Purchasing and/or sourcing experience a plus
      9. If hired, proof of identity and authorization to work in the US required

  • Sourcing Specialist
    The Sourcing Specialist will work with the Lapine Sales force to identify products that fit our corporate customers' promotional and premium needs.
    These products may be from manufacturers we represent, such as Panasonic, Sony, Camelbak, Hoover, Sharp, Weber, Bulova and Garmin or third party resources.

    Responsible for all aspects of domestic sourcing and merchandising of premium and promotional products - from brainstorming ideas to ordering product and following through until delivery.

    Qualifications (Job Requirements):
    1. College degree
    2. Purchasing and/or sourcing experience a plus
    3. Creative, able to develop innovative merchandise assortment to fit the customer's specific marketing objective
    4. Organized; excellent communication skills, follow-through on projects to completion, handle multiple projects at once
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
    6. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    7. Position is based out of our Stamford, CT office

  • Customer Service Representative
    Highly motivated individuals are invited to join our second-to-none staff in our Customer Service Department. Heavy phones, data entry, and other clerical work will keep you busy and never bored!

    Qualifications (Job Requirements):
    1. College degree preferred
    2. Computer literate
    3. Professional phone manner; call center experience a plus
    4. Strong attention to detail
